We are dedicated to raising healthy, well-tempered rats in a nurturing, enrichment-heavy environment. We believe that ethical, responsible breeding goes hand-in-hand with animal advocacy; our mission is to improve the welfare of fancy rats through proactive education and a commitment to the highest standards of care.

Located in Launceston, Tasmania, Rascally Runts Rattery is a unique breeding program run in partnership with the Launceston College Animal Care students.

Supporting the Future: We are proud to be an initiative of the Launceston College Animal Care program. All adoption proceeds are reinvested directly back into our rattery, allowing us to ensure our animals have the best possible quality of life while supporting our students’ education.
